Apologies to those who came to the Baby Show...

Birth being what it is, I ended up being called out at 6am on Sunday morning and didn't get home till 1am on Monday. My husband James did a marvellous job on my behalf (thank goodness I don't have a shy husband who doesn't like to talk about uteruses), but I'm sorry I didn't get to meet everyone or to do the presentation.

On the plus side, the birth was wonderful - an 11lb baby girl born at home with just gas & air. Then I got home to find that my friend had also given birth over night to a 9lb 6oz baby girl, also at home but with no pain relief. Congrats to all!
