Doula Services

The BirthSense group includes two birth doulas, both registered with Doula UK.

Callie

As a doula and hypnotherapist, Callie can offer traditional doula services or HypnoBirthing birth support. Callie was trained by world-famous obstetrician, Dr Michel Odent, and has experience of attending hospital births (both on delivery and midwife-led units), premature births, induced births, waterbirths and home births. Her standard doula package includes at least two pre-natal visits, unlimited phone and email contact, attendance through your birth (usually available from 38 weeks to 42 weeks) and one post-natal visit. The price for this service is £600.

An "ad hoc" service is also available to BirthSense HypnoBirthing clients only, whereby no on-call period is arranged, and birth attendence is not guaranteed but is provided on an ad hoc basis, rather than an actual doula service. The price for this service is £300, payable only if birth attendance is provided.

Martina

Martina can offer a full doula service, including birth and post-natal services. She is familiar with the HypnoBirthing techniques, and has experience in attending a variety of different births.

Martina's doula package includes at least two pre-natal visits, unlimited phone and email contact, attendance through your birth (usually available from 38 to 42 weeks) and at least one post-natal visit unless seperate post-natal work is arranged.
