Continuing with the same gentle attachment and bonding philosophies as our birth preparation classes promote, the products and services we offer are designed to make a gentle, confident and comfortable transition into the world (for your baby) and into parenthood (for you).

 

BabySense antenatal and post-natal baby care classes

A stand alone class that's open to all, the BabySense antenatal class held one week after the end of each HypnoBirthing course. Our lactation consultant will present a segment on successful breastfeeding and pointers to success, and you will be given practical "bringing baby home" information and taught baby calming techniques. A follow-up post-natal class is also available for early-days parenting which includes practical, hands-on breastfeeding assistance, baby calming and baby massage tecniques.

Lactation consultant

Alison has been a midwife for 30 years and during that time developed a passion to support mothers who choose to breastfeed. Her services provide extra help on a one-to-one basis as she gets to know you and your baby, and group breastfeeding sessions before and after the birth. This continuity of advice and encouragement can help you maintain the confidence to achieve your goal.

HypnoBirthing Infant Massage

Designed as a natural continuity to HypnoBirthing classes, this Infant Massage course reintroduces familiar concepts such as parenting affirmations, Comfort Zone music and positive bonding techniques. Parents will learn how massage can help develop their confidence in handling their babies, as well as some techniques to ease colic and calm their babies.

Real Nappies

We stock some of the most popular brands of real nappies and slings, and are happy to demonstrate them to you at our BabySense events. All brands are available to buy or hire, ensuring you end up with the system that's right for you. Save money and beat the crunch with lovely, soft, snuggly cloth!
